Contractor and construction company website design
that gets you on the shortlist.

What’s included · $200/month

What a contractor or construction company website from Summit Echo includes

A general contractor or remodeler sells big projects to careful buyers. Nobody hires a contractor for a $60,000 kitchen from a Facebook page. The website is where a homeowner checks that you are licensed, insured, established, and have done this exact kind of project before. These are the pages that pass that check.

Kitchen and bathroom remodeling

The two most-searched remodeling projects, each on its own page with process, timeline, and what affects the price.

Additions and whole-home renovations

Second stories, in-law suites, gut renovations. Longer pages for longer decisions, with room for project photos.

Basements, decks, and exteriors

Finished basements, decks and porches, siding and windows. The mid-size projects that fill a calendar between big ones.

Commercial and new construction

Tenant improvements, build-outs, ground-up and custom homes. Construction company website design is the same plan with the project pages weighted toward larger work and a portfolio a GC or developer will read.

Project gallery and case studies

Your finished work, organized by project type, with a short write-up for each. This is what a homeowner shows their spouse.

Licensing, insurance, process, and service area

Your license number, insurance, how a project runs from estimate to punch list, and a page for each town you build in.

Hosting, forms, and basic content updates are included while you are on the plan. Pages are scoped at kickoff around the services and towns that matter to your business. See the full Express plan.

For general contractors, remodelers, and construction companies whose website keeps getting pushed aside

You are a general contractor or remodeler who wins work on referrals and reputation, and the homeowners checking you out online are not finding anything that matches the quality of your jobs.

Summit Echo builds websites for the building trades, with the license, proof, and project detail a careful buyer looks for.

The Bottleneck

Why most contractor websites never make the shortlist

Customers can’t tell what you do or where

Homeowners compare three or four contractors online before the first call, and a thin site drops you from the list.

The website never gets your attention

You are on site all day, so the website never gets the attention the work deserves.

Customers lose confidence

A contractor who does careful work should not lose projects to one with a better website and a worse crew.

Search behaviour

How homeowners look for a contractor

Contractor searches are deliberate. "General contractor near me," "construction companies [town]," "kitchen remodel contractor [town]," "home addition cost." The homeowner is usually weeks or months from signing, comparing three or four companies, and reading everything. A thin site with a phone number and a slogan drops you from the list before the first call.

What keeps you on the list is specificity and proof: pages for the project types you actually do, photos of projects you actually finished, a license number, insurance, and reviews from named customers in nearby towns. Google and AI assistants use the same specificity to decide which contractor to show for which search. One "Services" page with a bulleted list gives them nothing to match.

We write the project pages from your kickoff answers and your portfolio, and we build the gallery to show your work properly. You approve every page before it goes live, and adding a project later is a basic content update.

What your contractor website will look like

North Counties Supply is a real Express Website for an independent building supply company; use the tabs to compare their previous site with the Express build. The concept below shows an exterior contractor direction.

The Plan

How your contractor website goes live

01

Complete kickoff: the remodeling and construction services you want more of, the towns you cover, your license details, photos, and reviews.

02

We plan the pages, write the copy, design the site, and build the forms. You review before anything goes live.

03

Live within 10 business days after completed kickoff materials, with hosting and basic content updates included.

A business card online versus a site that earns the estimate

A homeowner about to spend $50,000 wants evidence, not adjectives. The site is where they look for it first.

Template or no site

  • A homepage with a slogan and a phone number, and nothing about the projects you do
  • Photos on Facebook that a homeowner has to dig for
  • No license or insurance shown, so the buyer keeps comparing

With an Express Website

  • A page for each project type, with process, timeline, and photos
  • License, insurance, and years in business where a buyer looks first
  • A gallery and estimate form that make requesting a visit simple

Optional · AI Voice Agent · $400/month

An answering service for contractors, when you are on site

Contractors lose estimate calls the same way electricians do: the phone rings while you are on a job. The AI Voice Agent answers the calls you route to it, captures the project type, address, and timing, and books the estimate visit into your calendar. $400/month on its own, month to month, or $550/month with the website as The Front Door.

  • Captures project type, budget range if the caller offers it, and preferred timing
  • Routes existing-client calls and vendor calls differently from new leads, by rules you set at kickoff
  • Sends the caller a confirmation and your team a summary

Website first, calls when you want them

Express stands alone at $200/month. Voice is sold on its own, month to month, with 30 days’ notice to cancel. The Front Door bundles both for $550/month.

A professional website for your contractor & construction business, handled for you.

Start with an Express Website at $200/mo. It launches within 10 business days after we receive your completed kickoff materials. Add the Voice Agent whenever you want after-hours calls covered.

Contractor & Construction website questions

Updated September 2026 · Markdown version

We do everything from decks to whole-home renovations. How do you organize that?

By project type, one page each, with the gallery organized the same way. A homeowner searching for a kitchen remodel lands on the kitchen page and sees kitchen projects. At kickoff we decide which project types lead and which are secondary.

Can we show projects without listing prices?

Yes. Most contractors do not publish prices and the site does not need them. We write about what affects cost and how your estimate process works, which is what the homeowner is really asking.

Is North Counties Supply a contractor?

No. They are an independent lumberyard and building supply company in northern New York, and a real Express Website client. We show their site here because it is real work in the building trades; the contractor concept on this page is illustrative.

How fast will the site be live?

Within 10 business days after we receive your completed kickoff materials. Checkout comes first and does not start the clock; the kickoff form does. Most owners finish kickoff in an evening.

What if my services or towns change?

Basic content updates are included while you are on the plan. Send the change through your client portal and we make it. Adding a new service page or a new town page is a normal request, not a change order.

Do I own the website?

Express is a managed website subscription, not a one-time website purchase. You own your domain, trademarks, logo, customer data, and the original materials you give us. Summit Echo owns the assembled website, design, copy we write, code, templates, hosting setup, and search and AI optimization work, and licenses it to you while your subscription is active.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancellation takes 30 days’ written notice, given in your client portal, and becomes effective on the later of the end of the initial 6-month term or 30 days after notice. Your site stays live and billing continues through that date; after it, the site is unpublished. We do not export, package, or migrate the site, its design files, or code. Your domain is released or transferred to you, and you can download available customer data through your existing tools before service ends. We keep a backup for 60 days in case you want to reactivate, then delete it permanently.
