Moving company website design
that makes booking feel safe.

A moving company website planned, written, built, and hosted for $200/month. Local, long-distance, packing, and storage pages, licensing and reviews up front, the towns you serve, and a quote form. Live within 10 business days after completed kickoff materials.

What’s included · $200/month

What a moving company website from Summit Echo includes

Moving is a trust purchase made once every few years by someone who has read the horror stories. The website has to show licensing and reviews before anything else, explain how the quote works so there are no surprises, and capture enough in the form to give a real estimate.

Local moving

Hourly crews, what is included, how the day runs, and what the customer should do before the truck arrives. The page most people land on.

Long-distance and interstate moving

Flat-rate quotes, inventory, delivery windows, and your USDOT number. Written to separate you from brokers.

Packing and unpacking

Full and partial packing, materials, fragile items, and how it is priced.

Storage and specialty items

Short-term storage, pianos, safes, antiques, and office moves. Each with its own short page and search demand.

How quotes work and what to expect

Hourly versus flat rate, in-home versus virtual estimates, deposits, insurance and valuation options. The page that removes the fear.

License, reviews, towns, and quote form

USDOT and state numbers, insurance, named reviews, a page per town you serve, and a quote form that captures from, to, date, and home size.

Hosting, forms, and basic content updates are included while you are on the plan. Pages are scoped at kickoff around the services and towns that matter to your business. See the full Express plan.

For local and long-distance moving companies whose website keeps getting pushed aside

You run a moving company that competes with national brokers and rogue movers for the same searches, and the website does not make the case that you are the legitimate local option.

Summit Echo builds moving company websites that explain how a quote works, show licensing and reviews first, and make booking a move feel safe.

The Bottleneck

Why most moving websites lose to the broker

Customers can’t tell what you do or where

A family with a move date searches "movers [town]," lands on a page with no license number, no explanation of pricing, and no reviews, and goes back to the broker.

The website never gets your attention

Summer is every weekend. The website is a listing on a lead site you pay for.

Customers lose confidence

A careful local mover should not lose to a broker who will sell the job to whoever is cheapest.

Search behaviour

How customers look for a mover

Moving searches are dominated by brokers and lead sites that resell the customer to the cheapest bidder. "Movers [town]," "moving company near me," and "long distance movers [state]" all return a mix of real companies and middlemen, and customers have learned to be suspicious. A local company wins by looking unmistakably real: license numbers, a physical address, named reviews, and a plain explanation of how the quote works.

The specific searches are worth more: "piano movers [town]," "office movers," "packing services." Each is a page. Each converts better than the generic homepage because the customer already knows what they need.

We write the pages from your kickoff answers, place your license and insurance where a customer looks first, and build a quote form that captures enough for a real estimate.

The Plan

How your moving company website goes live

01

Complete kickoff: the moving services you want more of, your towns, credentials, photos, and reviews.

02

We plan the pages, write the copy, design the site, and build the forms. You review before anything goes live.

03

Live within 10 business days after completed kickoff materials, with hosting and basic content updates included.

A lead-site listing versus a site that proves you are the real company

The customer has read the warnings. The site either shows the license and the reviews or the broker gets the call.

Lead-site listing or no site

  • No license number or insurance shown, so you look like the rogue movers the news warns about
  • No explanation of how a quote works, so the customer assumes a bait-and-switch
  • A form that asks for nothing, so every lead is a callback

With an Express Website

  • USDOT and state license, insurance, and reviews on the first screen
  • A plain explanation of hourly versus flat-rate quotes, what is included, and what costs extra
  • A quote form that captures from, to, date, home size, and specialty items

Optional · AI Voice Agent · $400/month

Quote calls answered while the crew is loading

Moving calls come in during moves. The AI Voice Agent answers the calls you route to it, captures from, to, date, home size, and specialty items, explains how your quotes work, and books an in-home or virtual estimate. $400/month on its own, month to month, or $550/month with the website as The Front Door.

  • Captures origin, destination, move date, home size, and specialty items
  • Explains hourly versus flat-rate quoting from your kickoff details
  • Books estimate appointments and sends a confirmation

Website first, calls when you want them

Express stands alone at $200/month. Voice is sold on its own, month to month, with 30 days’ notice to cancel. The Front Door bundles both for $550/month.

A professional website for your moving company business, handled for you.

Start with an Express Website at $200/mo. It launches within 10 business days after we receive your completed kickoff materials. Add the Voice Agent whenever you want after-hours calls covered.

Moving Company website questions

Updated September 2026 · Markdown version

Should we publish hourly rates?

Publish your local hourly rate and crew size, and explain what affects a long-distance flat rate. Customers who see no numbers assume a bait-and-switch, which is exactly the fear you are fighting.

Can the site show our USDOT and state license?

Yes, on the first screen and in the footer, with a link to the FMCSA lookup if you want. It is the single strongest trust signal a mover has.

We also do junk removal and storage.

Each gets its own page. They are separate searches with different customers, and the plan covers them.

How fast will the site be live?

Within 10 business days after we receive your completed kickoff materials. Checkout comes first and does not start the clock; the kickoff form does. Most owners finish kickoff in an evening.

What if my services or towns change?

Basic content updates are included while you are on the plan. Send the change through your client portal and we make it. Adding a new service page or a new town page is a normal request, not a change order.

Do I own the website?

Express is a managed website subscription, not a one-time website purchase. You own your domain, trademarks, logo, customer data, and the original materials you give us. Summit Echo owns the assembled website, design, copy we write, code, templates, hosting setup, and search and AI optimization work, and licenses it to you while your subscription is active.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancellation takes 30 days’ written notice, given in your client portal, and becomes effective on the later of the end of the initial 6-month term or 30 days after notice. Your site stays live and billing continues through that date; after it, the site is unpublished. We do not export, package, or migrate the site, its design files, or code. Your domain is released or transferred to you, and you can download available customer data through your existing tools before service ends. We keep a backup for 60 days in case you want to reactivate, then delete it permanently.
