What a septic company website from Summit Echo includes

Septic customers call for one of three reasons: it is time to pump, they are buying or selling a house, or something is backing up. The pages below meet each of them, name the areas you cover, and explain what happens next in plain language. Every page is planned and written for you at kickoff.

Where the page has to work

Every page below is written for the moment a customer types the search and lands on your site.

Septic pumping and maintenance

What a pump-out involves, how often a household should pump, what to expect on the day, and how to find the lid. The page that brings back the same customers every few years.

Real estate and routine inspections

Point-of-sale inspections, what the report covers, typical turnaround, and how to schedule around a closing date. Written for the buyer, the seller, and the realtor.

Repairs and drain fields

Baffles, pumps, alarms, risers, and failing drain fields. Signs of trouble, what a repair involves, and when replacement is the honest answer.

New systems and installation

Optional. Perc tests, design coordination, permits, and installs for new builds and replacements, if you do them.

Emergency service

Backups, alarms, and sewage in the yard. A page that says whether you answer after hours, how fast you can get there, and what to do until you arrive.

Service areas, reviews, and request form

The townships and counties you cover, certifications, years in business, and real reviews. A request form that captures address, tank size if known, last pump date, and what is going on.

Hosting, forms, and basic content updates are included while you are on the plan. Pages are scoped at kickoff around the services and towns that matter to your business. See the full Express plan.

Who this is for

For septic pumping, inspection, and installation companies whose website keeps getting pushed aside.

You run a septic company that lives on pump-outs, inspections, and the occasional emergency, and the website is a phone number, a truck photo, and a list that says "septic services."

Summit Echo builds septic company websites that say what you do, where you go, and what to expect, so the homeowner, the buyer, and the realtor all call you first.

The Bottleneck

Why most septic websites never get past "call for service"

Customers can’t tell what you do or where

A homeowner with a slow drain and a wet yard searches "septic pumping [township]," lands on a site that does not name their area or explain what a pump-out involves, and calls the company that does.

The website never gets your attention

You are on the truck from dawn. The site was set up years ago and nobody has touched it since.

Customers lose confidence

A septic company that shows up, does the dirty job right, and tells the truth about the tank should not lose the call to one with a better website.

Search behaviour

How homeowners and realtors look for a septic company

Septic searches are local and practical: "septic pumping near me," "septic inspection for home sale [county]," "septic backup emergency." Most septic customers live outside town lines, so the search is often by township or county rather than city. A site that names those places gives Google something specific to match; a site that says "serving the area" does not.

Two kinds of customer matter most. The homeowner on a schedule comes back every few years if they remember who pumped last time. The realtor or buyer with a closing date needs an inspection fast and will call whoever explains turnaround first. Each gets their own page.

We write the pages from your kickoff answers, using your county's inspection requirements and your own pricing approach, and you review every page before it goes live.

Questions before you buy? Talk to us first.

A phone number and a truck photo versus a site that answers first

The homeowner wants to know if you cover their township and what a pump-out involves. The realtor wants to know how fast you can inspect. The site either says so or the next company's does.

Facebook page or old site

  • One line that says "septic services," so pumping, inspection, and drain field searches all miss
  • No service area, so a rural search from the next township never finds you
  • Nothing for the realtor or buyer who needs an inspection before closing

With an Express Website

  • Separate pages for pumping, inspections, repairs, installs, and emergencies
  • A page for real estate inspections with turnaround and what the report covers
  • Townships and counties named, with click-to-call and a request form on every page

Optional · AI Voice Agent · $400/month

Pumping and inspection calls answered while you are on a job

You cannot answer the phone with a hose in a tank. The AI Voice Agent answers the calls you route to it, captures the address, tank details, and what is going on, answers pumping and inspection questions from your kickoff details, and books a service window or flags an emergency for you. $400/month on its own, month to month, or $550/month with the website as The Front Door.

  • Captures address, tank size if known, last pump date, and the problem
  • Answers how-often-to-pump and inspection turnaround questions from your kickoff details
  • Flags backups and alarms as emergencies by rules you set

Website first, calls when you want them

Express stands alone at $200/month. Voice is sold on its own, month to month, with 30 days’ notice to cancel. The Front Door bundles both for $550/month.

A professional website for your septic service business, handled for you.

Start with an Express Website at $200/mo. It launches within 10 business days after we receive your completed kickoff materials. Add the Voice Agent whenever you want after-hours calls covered.

Septic Service website questions

Updated October 2026 · Markdown version

Should we publish pumping prices?

Publish a starting price for a standard residential pump-out and explain what changes it: tank size, distance, digging to the lid, and disposal fees. Homeowners who see nothing assume the worst and call around.

We cover rural townships, not towns.

That is how most septic companies work. Service-area pages can be built around townships or counties instead of city names, scoped at kickoff to the places you actually drive to.

A lot of our work comes from realtors.

The real estate inspection page is written for them: what the inspection covers, turnaround, how reports are delivered, and how to schedule around a closing. It gives a realtor a link to send a client instead of a phone number to pass along.

We also rent portable toilets.

Portable toilet rental gets its own page with unit types, events and job sites, and how to request one. It is a different customer with a different search.

How fast will the site be live?

Within 10 business days after we receive your completed kickoff materials. Checkout comes first and does not start the clock; the kickoff form does. Most owners finish kickoff in an evening.

What if my services or towns change?

Basic content updates are included while you are on the plan. Send the change through your client portal and we make it. Adding a new service page or a new town page is a normal request, not a change order.

Do I own the website?

Express is a managed website subscription, not a one-time website purchase. You own your domain, trademarks, logo, customer data, and the original materials you give us. Summit Echo owns the assembled website, design, copy we write, code, templates, hosting setup, and search and AI optimization work, and licenses it to you while your subscription is active.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancellation takes 30 days’ written notice, given in your client portal, and becomes effective on the later of the end of the initial 6-month term or 30 days after notice. Your site stays live and billing continues through that date; after it, the site is unpublished. We do not export, package, or migrate the site, its design files, or code. Your domain is released or transferred to you, and you can download available customer data through your existing tools before service ends. We keep a backup for 60 days in case you want to reactivate, then delete it permanently.
